System Design

PCS provides system design for processes that require cooling, heating, fluid circulation, and/or temperature control. These systems may be dedicated to serving a single large process or may serve multiple applications with differing requirements. These systems generally include components such as chillers, pumping stations, heat exchanger skids, cooling towers, etc.

PCS System Design Services are available either on a consulting basis or as part of a system purchase.

After a study of the application, facility, environmental and budgetary considerations, our engineers will work in concert with the client to design the optimal system for the situation. Design services include:

Determination of cooling load and/or heating requirements
Determination of temperature control, flow and pressure requirements
Determination of system type (Evaporative, Chilled, Fluid-Air, Combo)
Selection of components
Analyze and summarize system power requirements
Optimization of Base System Efficiency
Analysis and assessment of optional energy saving systems and ROI
Assistance with processing State and Federal rebate incentives
System schematics, plant layouts including piping and sizing
